Profile

Experienced Project Manager with a wealth of technical and commercial experience controlling in-house or 3rd party suppliers, acquired across a wide range of demanding roles, with over 20 successful years delivering technical and development projects on time and within budget.

Expertise

• Over fifteen years experience as a project manager/business analyst working in a variety of countries and industry sectors using a number of analysis methodologies, including Catalyst, JAD, RAD and iterative custom design to define business processes and appropriate technologies for effective management of projects.

• Global 3rd party supplier management with extensive experience in supplier selection, management and relationship development.

• Facilitating between the business stakeholders and IT departments in matrix management environments, managing requirements, risks and expectations.

• Managed teams of between 5 and 25 people including recruiting, man management and resource allocation, including the management of third party resources.

• Qualified Prince2 Practitioner (since 2002) and studying for ITIL certification.

• Project manager/business analyst for Vodafone, Telewest and SITRA implementing telephony applications with CAPEX budgets up to £2m (2007).

• Responsible for the full project life cycle of £1m+ plus pan European implementation of a bespoke leasing application for Comdisco (1999).

• Implemented item tracking solution for Bhs supply chain (1996).

• Implemented Commander Planning (Arthur–JDA) for the Burton Group (1995).

• Implemented bespoke marketing application in emerging markets for United Distillers (1996).

• Managed ITT for ISP services and installation of 500 PC’s UK wide for AdvancedWave (2002).
