Introduction

Welcome to last 2010 newsletter from PSS-Europe.

The biggest learning out of 2010 was the re-enforcement of family first and everything else second. No matter how important work appears to be it can never replace the time lost with your family.

Good news in 2010 was that PSS-Europe started on a couple consultancy engagements and will be looking to build on those in 2011. Working on business process re-engineering and providing customer engagement project management. With the depth of knowledge and experience available to PSS-Europe this going consultancy especially within the SME market will be a target for 2011. The work has come from word of mouth recommendations and this is one of the best means to new business.

The biggest frustration in 2010 was that three times in 2010 things were looking good, there was a strong potential pipeline of work and then for one reason or another things faded away. In 2011 PSS-Europe will continue with the structured approach and spend more time visiting current and potential customers. The big aim for 2011 is establishing an account management structure and increase the conversion of potential leads into business.

The New Year will bring a fresh start and even though it could well be a challenge with VAT going to 20% and the private sector job cuts really starting to kick-in. The silver lining could be that tightening budgets may lead to opportunities as companies look for better value and may consider using smaller companies.

Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
