This is a very exciting opportunity for experienced eCommerce development Project Manager to join one of Europe’s largest and most respected retailing groups. This opportunity has come about due to continued expansion of their online eCommerce business.

As the Project Manager you will be expected to handle & deliver multiple projects based around web / online / eCommerce solutions. You must be able to demonstrate solid business acumen & commercial awareness and have control over the day-to-day management of the project team as well as dealing with stakeholders’ throughout the organisation. You will be responsible for the end to end application development plan which includes delivery of the functional and non functional requirements. Manage internal and external resources to ensure delivery. You are bridging the gap between the business and IT ensuring the solutions meets the requirements and is best value.

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following:
- Solid grounding as a Project Manager/Development Manager with complete life cycle experience of enterprise eCommerce solutions within the Retail environment
- Experience working on projects between £1m-£5m
- Excellent communication skills are essential for this role will involve liaison with senior management and staff internally, as well as 3rd parties suppliers
- Although technical skills are not required it would be very useful if you have been involved within the J2EE/Java environment previously
- Formal Project Management methodology/certification advantageous
