| Project Manager - Fund Management/Pension Experience |
Location: Based between Edinburgh (3 days) and London (2 days). Salary/Rate: £450-500/day
This is a Senior Project Manager position for a consultancy dealing with Fund Management. Must be able to demonstrate management and delivered of projects with budgets in excess of £1m within a relevant finance environment.
The project manager will be responsible for the full project life cycle from approval of project proposal through to implementation. The role will include management of all senior stakeholders both internal and external.
Experience in migration of pensions between providers would a benefit.
The project manager is a leadership position and candidates need to be able to demonstrate team leading and working, relationship building and negotiation skills. The role will require strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Candidates must have:
- Excellent project management skills
- Hands on experience of managing projects within a complex multi-functional environment
- Strong supplier (internal and external) management skills
- A sound understanding of and recent experience within a fund management organisation
- A proven track record in delivering regional technology and business change initiatives
- Sound financial budgeting skills
