Location: Newbury Salary: £25,000pa

Our client specialises in intranet, extranet and portal solutions, t he company has a full order book and their client profile encompasses a broad range of industries and businesses of all sizes in the UK and overseas.

There is an opportunity for an experienced forms developer (e.g. MS-Access) who is looking to develop their skills into the web tools arena. Although progression within the company is available, this role is not for anyone with the ambition to become a full-on .net or Java developer. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team working with the company's own intranet development environment to deploy intranet based applications on behalf of clients. The role would be predominantly office based with the occasional visit to client sites around the UK.

Duties

•  Developing interface enhancements to existing to customer systems.
•  Designing and developing new application interfaces.
•  Assisting with delivering customer and internal projects.

Required Experience

•  Worked on application interface development projects for a number of years.

Required Skills

•  Working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services and related tools
•  Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 / 2008 query tools, views and stored procedures
•  Working knowledge of HTML & CSS
•  Working knowledge of JavaScript

Desired Skills

•  Web design skills
•  Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop
•  Knowledge of browser document object model
